Expected Snow and Blizzard Conditions, Temperatures Dropping to -23 Degrees

Weather conditions in the Republic are expected to be precipitation-free during the nights of December 16 and 18. However, light precipitation is expected late in the evenings of December 16 and 18, as well as during the nights of December 17 and 19 in certain regions, while mountainous areas will see snow and blizzard conditions. The wind will blow from the west at 2-5 m/s, with gusts expected in certain regions reaching speeds of 17-20 m/s on December 16-17. The air temperature will gradually decrease by another 2-3 degrees during the night of December 16.

In Yerevan, light precipitation is expected late in the evening of December 16, which will appear as snow in the elevated areas of the city. The temperature in the capital today will range from +1 to +3 during the day and -1 to -3 in the evening.
