Everything was done to prevent the Ukrainian scenario from repeating in Georgia: Kobakhidze
“We did everything to ensure that the scenario that occurred in Ukraine would not be repeated in Georgia,” stated Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze today.
“Everything started in 2013 with Maidan, which was followed by the first war just days after the end of Maidan, then the second war, and today our friendly country Ukraine is devastated, with nearly a quarter of the population having fled the country or being displaced. Hundreds of thousands of Ukrainians lost their lives. All this happened to Ukraine because society did not demonstrate adequate caution at that time. Georgian society is more experienced, and therefore, with the support of Georgian society, we were able to avoid vital threats to Georgia and, first and foremost, able to avoid war,” Kobakhidze noted.
