During the special military operation, a turn is taking place in the battlefield. This was announced by Russian President Vladimir Putin, according to gazeta.ru.

Putin emphasized that Russia has fully taken the strategic initiative in the combat zone. "Our military activity is the complete halt of the opponent's strategic initiative," said the Russian leader. He also added that by 2024, within the scope of the special operation, Russia has taken control of 189 populated areas.
