Armenia and Russia are going through a complex phase of resilience: Kopirkin
During the ongoing Armenian-Russian Health Conference in Yerevan, the Ambassador of Russia to Armenia, Sergey Kopirkin, stated that there is a clear political will in Moscow to address the existing problems in the relations between Russia and Armenia, as reported by Sputnik Armenia.
"The conference is taking place during a very responsible period. Our countries and our relations are undergoing a complex phase of resilience testing. In these conditions, it is crucial for us not only to maintain what unites us but also to elevate cooperation to a new level and adapt it to the new realities," said the Russian diplomat.
According to him, the healthcare sector holds a special place in the overall complex of relations. The foundation for this unity includes a common education system, a shared professional mindset, and common challenges.
Kopirkin mentioned that the upcoming Armenian-Russian intergovernmental commission meeting on December 20 will also address issues related to cooperation in the healthcare sector and will coordinate agreements signed between the ministries of the two countries on several matters.
