VIDEO: Varazdat Lalayan Becomes World Champion

Armenian weightlifter Varazdat Lalayan has claimed the gold medal at the World Championship in Bahrain, achieving a total lift of 467 kg (215 kg + 252 kg) in the super heavyweight category, earning him the title of world champion.

In the same weight category, compatriot Gor Minasian, who represents Bahrain, recorded a total lift of 455 kg (210 kg + 245 kg) and finished in 4th place.
