Israel-Turkey Bilateral Trade Completely Suspended

The Turkish Ministry of Trade has confirmed that bilateral trade with Israel has been completely suspended since May of this year, and any transactions involving goods from or for the Jewish state are prohibited at ports. This information has been reported by TASS.

"No goods intended for Israel are allowed to be transported or loaded onto ships in Turkey, not only directly from Israel but also from third countries; the import of Israeli products is strictly forbidden," the document states.

The Ministry of Trade clarified that ships can still send shipments to Israeli ports from Turkey if they are intended for Palestine.
