Rapper Jay-Z Accused of Rape

Famous rapper Jay-Z has been sued for rape that allegedly occurred during a P.Diddy party in 2000. The plaintiff was 13 years old at the time and claims that the rappers assaulted them in front of another celebrity. NBC News reports on the incident, citing the lawsuit which was initially filed in October, naming the rapper as a defendant.

The lawsuit was filed by attorney Tony Buzbee, who is representing more than a hundred other plaintiffs in the Combs case. He has declined to comment to the television channel.

“These allegations are so disgusting in nature that I urge you to file not a civil but a criminal complaint. Whoever commits such a crime against a minor should be put behind bars, don’t you agree?” Jay-Z said in an interview with NBC. “These alleged victims would receive real justice if that were the case,” he added.
