Israel Strikes Syrian Military Objectives
Israeli Air Force fighter jets have launched missile strikes on several military objects near Damascus. This information has been reported by the Naharnet news portal.
It is noted that Israeli aircraft targeted Syrian military camps in the Tel Mnin and Khfayer regions, located in the mountainous al-Qalamoun area west of the Syrian capital. Eyewitnesses have reported explosions and columns of smoke rising from the bombing sites. There are no details on casualties or injuries.
According to the portal, since the new government took power in Damascus on December 8, Israel has conducted more than 400 airstrikes targeting objectives in 13 provinces.
