Mother Regularly Beat Child: Details on 13-Year-Old Girl's Death

Today, the grandmother of a deceased 13-year-old girl at the 'Vanadzor' Medical Center provided details about the family's situation. According to her, the children's mother regularly beat them, threatening to kill them if they did not behave. This information was reported by ArmLur.

Two days before the incident, the grandmother spoke with her granddaughter over the phone, who complained of pain in her legs. After that, no further contact could be established with the children. The 'Vanadzor' Medical Center informed the media that a 13-year-old girl had been admitted in moderately serious condition.

Upon admission, the child reported acute musculoskeletal pain, which was causing difficulties in her walking function. All necessary examinations were conducted, and the attending physician also consulted with specialists regarding the clarification of the diagnosis and the treatment strategy.

Against the background of initial first aid measures, a relative improvement was noted in her condition. However, around 06:26 AM, the girl's condition sharply deteriorated. The head of the department, A. Hambaryan, and pediatric anesthesiologist I. Antonyan were called in. Her condition was assessed as extremely severe. All possible shock and resuscitation measures were carried out.

“Despite the therapeutic measures taken, there was a progressive worsening, which unfortunately led to the child's biological death. The main cause of the child’s death will be determined by a forensic examination,” the hospital noted.
