Humanity is Becoming Dull: Study

A study by the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) has revealed that one in five people on the planet struggles with reading and mathematics at an elementary school level.

• Men still perform better in mathematics than women, although this gap is gradually narrowing.
• One-third of workers lack the necessary knowledge and skills for their profession.
• In many countries, there has been a noticeable decline in the literacy levels of young adults aged 16-24.
• A quarter of adults demonstrate skills that are inferior to those of ten-year-old children.
