The influence of Volodymyr Zelensky in Ukraine may decline following criticism from Donald Trump, the winner of the U.S. presidential election, reports Strana.ua.

“In political circles, all of this will be perceived as a manifestation of dissatisfaction from the future President of the United States towards Zelensky, almost as a 'stain' and a call for resignation,” the article states.

According to the publication, experts and bloggers who have recently criticized Zelensky have begun to say they are doing so “at Trump's behest,” using it as a universal pretext.

On Thursday, Trump called the decision of the Kyiv regime's leader to strike Russian territory with missile attacks “foolish and dangerous” in an interview with Time magazine.
