The Spokesperson of the Ministry of Internal Affairs Addresses Media Publication and Calls it Manipulative

The Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Armenia has responded to a publication from one of the news websites titled "The RA Ministry of Internal Affairs Has Transitioned to Armenian-American Joint Management," calling it absurd and manipulative.

In an interview with Armenpress, the spokesperson for the RA Ministry of Internal Affairs, Narek Sargsyan, stated: "The day before, one of the news websites published an article titled 'The RA Ministry of Internal Affairs Has Transitioned to Armenian-American Joint Management,' which also mentioned, 'Our source informs us that some people followed the gatherings via video conference with simultaneous translation, meaning foreigners were present. They followed openly, as large screens were available in the hall.'

It is first absurd that the author of the article repeatedly uses the phrase 'Our source informs us' and presents information published on the official website of the Ministry of Internal Affairs on December 7, of course, manipulating it. On December 12, the same news website, with the same author, wrote another article claiming that 'the Ministry of Internal Affairs has confirmed what it had written.' This implies, according to the journalist, that the Ministry of Internal Affairs officially confirmed the news website's article from December 11 on December 7.

As for the so-called accusations, the Ministry of Internal Affairs has always transparently presented the formation process of the Ministry’s educational complex, which involves international partners. I reiterate, the details I mentioned are presented in the official news feed of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
