Macron to Appoint New Candidate for French Prime Minister

French President Emmanuel Macron is set to announce a new candidate for Prime Minister on Friday morning, according to BFMTV, referencing the Élysée Palace. Earlier, Macron's circle had indicated that the name of the new Prime Minister would be revealed on Thursday evening.

"A communiqué regarding the appointment of the Prime Minister will be published tomorrow (Friday) morning," stated sources from the Élysée Palace.

Macron returned to Paris on Thursday evening, interrupting his visit to Poland.
