Zelensky Announces Successful Testing of Ukrainian New 'Ruta' Missile

The Armed Forces of Ukraine and representatives of the country's defense industry have successfully tested the new 'Ruta' missile. This was announced by President Volodymyr Zelensky during the presentation of the Ukrainian National Award named after Boris Paton. No technical specifications of the missile were revealed.

The Ukrainian president also stated that the new long-range missile drone 'Palyanytsia', which was first used in combat conditions in August 2024, has entered mass production. 'The 'Peklo' drone missile has successfully completed its first combat use. Recently, we have delivered the first batch to our defense forces,' Zelensky added.

Furthermore, he listed Ukrainian-made drones that are being used by the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the war against Russia. 'The 'Hor' reconnaissance aircraft, 'Vampire' and 'Heavy Shot' night bombers, 'Kolibri' and 'Kamik FPV' drones, and 'Darts' FPV aircraft; all of these are of Ukrainian production and are actively being used both on the front lines and in the rear,' Zelensky noted.
