Russia's Ministry of Defense Issues Statement

The Russian side has established control over the settlement of Zholtoye in the Donetsk People's Republic. This was reported by the Ministry of Defense of Russia.

"Russian Armed Forces units have liberated the settlement of Zholtoye in the Donetsk People's Republic as a result of active operations," the RIA news agency cited the MoD statement.

It is also reported that Ukrainian military forces lost five brigades and one battalion in the areas of Dzerzhinsk, Shcherbinovka, Dmitrov, Petrovka, and Pushkino, with eight counterattacks pushed back.

According to the Russian Ministry of Defense, the Ukrainian side has lost 575 servicemen, along with a significant amount of weapons and military equipment, including American-made Bradley infantry fighting vehicles and M113 armored personnel carriers.
