Video: Syrian Opposition Flag Raised in St. Petersburg

The flag presented by the Syrian opposition has been hung in front of the Consulate of the Syrian Arab Republic in St. Petersburg. This was reported by TASS.

It was noted that the official flag of the country was also lowered in front of the Syrian Embassy in Moscow.

Since 2011, the general emblem of the Syrian opposition has been the flag originally used by the Syrian Republic from 1932 to 1958 and by the Syrian Arab Republic from 1961 to 1963, which features three horizontal stripes in green, white, and black. The middle white stripe has three red five-pointed stars on it. Today, opposition forces entered Damascus with posters of this flag.
