Individual Attempts to Smuggle Drugs into Prison

A prison inspector at the "Armavir" penitentiary, Vahan Chibukhchyan, has been arrested for attempting to smuggle drugs into the facility.

Nona Navikyan, head of the public relations department of the Penitentiary Service, confirmed the information in an interview with 24News but did not disclose further details, adding that an investigation is currently underway.
