"This is Dangerous": Lavrov

Russia and the United States are not officially in a state of war, but a hybrid war is being waged against Moscow. This was stated by Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov in an interview with American journalist Tucker Carlson.

“Officially, we (Russia and the US) are not fighting. Some call what is happening in Ukraine a hybrid war. I would call it that as well,” said Lavrov.

The foreign minister added that without the direct involvement of the US military personnel, the Ukrainians would not be able to do what they are doing with modern long-range weapons. The politician emphasized that “this is dangerous.”

In response to the question of whether the US and the Russian Federation are in a state of war, Lavrov noted that this is not what the Russian side would want.
