Asad Rejects Erdogan's Proposal
Mariam Z.
Syrian President Bashar al-Assad has not responded positively to Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan's offer to meet and normalize relations between Ankara and Damascus. Erdogan announced this information during a conversation with journalists, stating, “We told Asad to meet, and we did not receive a positive response.”
It is noteworthy that on November 30, terrorists took control of the second largest Syrian city, Aleppo, and its surroundings, including the international airport and the Kuweires military airbase.
