Details on the Stabbing of a 20-Year-Old Woman

On the night of December 4, at around 2 AM, the operational management center of the National Police of Armenia received a report of a stabbed woman near an address on Glinka Street. This was reported by the Armenian police.

The following call came from a hospital. An ambulance team transported a 20-year-old woman with a diagnosis of 'open chest wound, left side' from the intersection of Glinka Street and Tigran Mets Avenue.

As a result of joint efforts by the criminal police department of Yerevan and the community police department of Erebuni, it was determined that the victim and a 31-year-old man had argued over household matters in an apartment on the first floor of a building on Tigran Mets Avenue, during which they had exchanged blows. This confrontation continued in the street, where the 31-year-old man attacked the 20-year-old woman with a sharp object and fled the scene.

Subsequent measures led to the identification and arrest of the 31-year-old resident of Yerevan on Khanchyan Street, who was taken to the investigative department. A criminal case has been initiated based on the characteristics of attempted murder.
