This Decision Was Correct: Pashinyan

In Armenia, taxis have generated 23 million receipts. This was announced by Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan during a government meeting.

“You remember that we made certain regulations starting from September, as a result of which taxis were required to generate receipts. The head of the State Revenue Committee reported a figure to me that honestly surprised me. Specifically, from September to November, taxis in Armenia generated 23 million receipts, with a turnover of 27-29 million drams. This means over 1,000 drams, and the number is increasing: in the first month, it was 5 million drams, and then over three months, it reached 23 million drams,” Pashinyan stated.

He expressed his pleasure at this development and thanked those who implemented this system and ensured the generation of receipts in taxis.

The Prime Minister added that there was initially some concern regarding this issue, but the decision regarding the receipts has proven to be correct.
