VIDEO: Pashinyan Reveals What Was Found on Aghazaryan's Phone
“I must disappoint you, the phone of Hovik Aghazaryan has not appeared on my desk and could not have appeared,” stated Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan during a Q&A session in the National Assembly.
“Hovik Aghazaryan's phone was seized by an independent body within the framework of a criminal case, and this independent body, in accordance with the law, followed the established procedures and permissions. An investigative officer, working on a completely different case, transferred it to another body that is not so independent. During the execution of this assignment, that body encountered information containing threats to state security, including counterintelligence threats,” said Pashinyan.
