VIDEO: Terrorists Kidnap People and Loot Homes in Aleppo
Terrorists have begun mass looting in the city of Aleppo and kidnapping citizens. This was reported by the Syrian SANA news agency.
“Terrorist groups are breaking into and looting property belonging to both the state and private individuals; they are also conducting searches in the homes of ordinary citizens, stealing personal belongings and kidnapping people,” the report states.
The terrorist group Hay’at Tahrir al-Sham, which is part of several armed formations of the so-called Syrian armed opposition, launched a large-scale operation on November 29, moving from northern Idlib towards the city of Aleppo. One day later, on November 30, the city of Aleppo, the second largest city in Syria and its surroundings, came under the control of terrorists, including the international airport and the Kuweires military airport.
Following the capture of Aleppo, terrorist groups attempted to advance towards the city of Hama, taking control of the village of Maaret al-Numan. Efforts are also underway in northern Aleppo province to penetrate deeper into areas held by Kurdish forces around the settlement of Tel Rifaat.
In response, on December 1, the Syrian army command announced that the advance of terrorists in Hama had been halted, and government forces have launched a counteroffensive, liberating several settlements previously occupied by terrorists.
