Everything is Much Deeper Here: Peskov

The deployment of peacekeepers is only possible with the agreement of the conflicting parties. This was stated by Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov while commenting on the Foreign Intelligence Service's announcement regarding the West's intention to organize the occupation of Ukraine under the guise of NATO peacekeeping forces.

"The deployment of peacekeepers is only possible with the agreement of one or another party to the conflict. Secondly, we have absolutely clear parameters necessary for a settlement. And, of course, to move beyond the trajectory of the settlement, it is necessary to address the core causes of the conflict. And here, everything is much deeper. These are the main reasons and, in fact, the crises that the president presented in July during his speech to the leadership of the Foreign Ministry," Peskov noted.

As stated in the Foreign Intelligence Service, NATO is increasingly inclined toward the idea of freezing the Ukrainian conflict in order to restore the combat readiness of the Armed Forces of Ukraine for potential revenge, and plans to deploy a peacekeeping force of about 100,000 personnel in the country. The Foreign Intelligence Service believes that this would lead to the actual occupation of Ukraine.

"Is such a variant of peaceful resolution necessary for Russia? The answer is unequivocal," the message states.
