VIDEO: Are You Ready to Be Appointed via Facebook and Dismissed via SMS? A Question to the New Head of the Investigative Committee

The newly appointed head of the Armenian Investigative Committee, Arthur Poghosyan, expressed his readiness to serve the country for as long as he is needed. He made this statement following a government session, responding to a journalist's question about whether he is willing to work under conditions of being appointed via "Facebook" and dismissed via SMS.

"I am ready to serve the country for as long as the country, the state, and the leadership need me," noted Arthur Poghosyan.

Addressing the next question about what he will do to perform better than the former president, Argishti Kyaramyan, Poghosyan mentioned that the public will evaluate his work. He then assured that his work will be visible and tangible.

"If there is no sense of justice among the public, then naturally, there is a problem," he said.

Earlier, Prime Minister Pashinyan confirmed that he announced the request to resign from positions via SMS, and prior to and following that, he started publishing the names of new officials on the social media platform Facebook.
