Israel Warns Beirut Residents

The residents of four districts in the central part of Lebanon's capital have been advised to urgently evacuate to a safe location due to upcoming strikes by the Israeli air force targeting the Shiite organization Hezbollah, TASS reports.

As stated in Arabic on X by Israel Defense Forces spokesperson Avichay Adraee, airstrikes are planned for the Ras Beirut, Corniche Mazraa, Mseifatbeh, and Zukak el-Blat neighborhoods. He noted that the strikes will target buildings housing the offices of the Al-Qard Al-Hassan financial and credit association, which supports Hezbollah's activities in Lebanon.

“For the safety of your families, you must immediately leave your homes in these areas and remain at least 500 meters away,” the statement said. “The Israeli army will soon begin intensive operations against ground targets in southern Beirut,” he wrote.
