Passenger Ship Sinks in Egypt
A passenger ship has sunk in Egypt (Red Sea), carrying 31 tourists and 14 crew members. Several of the tourists have been found alive. Search and rescue operations are ongoing, according to provincial authorities.
The ship set sail from the Ghalib port in Marsa Alam on November 24 and was supposed to reach Hurghada by November 29. The vessel sank near the city of Marsa Alam. Rescue teams have saved 28 individuals, while 17 remain missing and are still being searched for.
