Russia Closes Part of Airspace

A military correspondent from Russia reports that on November 23-24, part of Russia's airspace will be closed for missile testing. It is noted that the Russian Federation had already closed a certain section of airspace starting November 22 for missile testing.

It was remarked that a similar announcement was made at the time when a "Oreshnik" ballistic missile was launched towards Dnipro. The "Oreshnik" missile is capable of delivering a nuclear strike, and advance warning is required when launching it, as the launch cannot be hidden, says military expert Boris Pastukhov.

“Otherwise, it's unclear where the missile is heading—London, Kyiv, or Washington. Not providing a warning effectively means provoking a nuclear war,” he stated.

Yesterday, 12 hours after powerful strikes in the direction of Ukrainian Dnipro, Russian President Vladimir Putin addressed the Russian people, declaring that the target of the new medium-range ballistic missile named "Oreshnik" was a military industrial enterprise. The President emphasized that this time the strike was without a nuclear warhead, and it was Moscow's response to six American ATACMS missiles launched on Russian territory, as well as British Storm Shadow and HIMARS systems.
