He has warned of the danger of a nuclear war with the United States, stating, "We are currently witnessing the most chaotic and brutal world since the Second World War. The situation could escalate into the most devastating nuclear war." The Chairman of the State Affairs Commission of the DPRK explained that the United States' "irresponsible tactics" to establish its supremacy, along with "all sorts of disputes and confrontations" it has caused, have reached a "critical point of explosion," leading to "unjust and horrific wars." Earlier, it was reported that Kim Jong Un has called for an increase in the country's military-technical capabilities.
