Video: Special Forces in Central Tbilisi

In the center of Tbilisi, where a protest is taking place, special forces buses have been spotted. Earlier, it was reported that Georgian President Salome Zourabichvili announced during the demonstration that she would appeal to the Constitutional Court regarding massive violations of voting secrecy during the parliamentary elections held on October 26.

She also called for new parliamentary elections in the country, stating that the voting on October 26 cannot be recognized as valid. “When elections have not taken place in the country, it is imperative that they be held again as soon as possible,” Zourabichvili said during a press briefing, adding that the country is on the path of “destabilization and dual power” because of the elections.
