VIDEO: Act According to Military Regulations - Abkhazia President's Order

The President of Abkhazia, Aslan Bzhania, has announced that he has instructed the republic's law enforcement personnel to act in accordance with military regulations while protecting important facilities.

“There was an attempt to exert pressure and penetrate the complex of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the State Security Service. Appropriate instructions have been given regarding the inadmissibility of such scenarios and on acting according to military regulations,” the president stated during an interview on Russia’s First Channel.

Bzhania added that there was an attempted incursion into state television and several other institutions last night. There was also gunfire in the territory of the Sukhum television center.

It is noteworthy that protests are taking place in Abkhazia, with demonstrators demanding Bzhania's resignation.
