Murder in Yerevan: Official from the Ruling Party Injured

A murder and a related shooting incident occurred today in the 17th district of Yerevan. The deceased has been identified as 42-year-old Arthur Manukyan, who succumbed to gunshot wounds after being transported to a hospital.

According to information from "Hraparak," Ludvig Gyulnazaryan, the municipality head from the ruling Republican Party in Parakar, was present at the crime scene and is involved in the incident. He sustained a gunshot wound to his leg.

Our sources indicate that authorities are searching for a friend of Ludvig Gyulnazaryan in connection with the murder. The Ministry of Internal Affairs confirmed the occurrence of the murder but did not provide further details.

From the Investigative Committee, it was stated that a criminal case has been initiated on charges of murder and illegal possession of firearms. The circle of individuals involved in the murder is currently being clarified.
