Will the Peace Treaty Be Signed by Year-End According to Bayramov?

The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan, Jeyhun Bayramov, has commented on the likelihood of a peace treaty between Azerbaijan and Armenia being signed by the end of the year. The minister informed reporters that the negotiation process consists of two components.

“One of them is physical contacts, which are important. Currently, the main focus of the Azerbaijani delegation is on the COP. For that reason, holding face-to-face meetings before December is not possible. December or January is another matter. There is no specific agreement in this regard yet. In addition to the face-to-face meetings, work on the document continues,” said Bayramov.
