Christian Estrosi: Charles Michel Must Resign

The Mayor of Nice, Christian Estrosi, has condemned Charles Michel's congratulatory message to Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev on X and demanded Michel's resignation.

He specifically wrote, "The President of Azerbaijan is a dictator with Armenian blood on his hands. This handshake is shameful as it offends the Armenian people and their memory, who oppose the ethnic cleansing in Artsakh. Charles Michel can no longer remain the President of the European Council. I demand his resignation from Emmanuel Macron, and I express my solidarity with the Armenian people."
