Mass Protest in Valencia Against Government Actions

Thousands of residents in Valencia have participated in a massive protest demanding the resignation of the President of the Generalitat, Carlos Mazon. This was reported on Saturday by the EFE news agency.

The demonstration began at 6:00 PM (8:00 PM Moscow time) in the Plaza del Ayuntamiento of Valencia, under the slogan "Resignation of the Freemason" and aimed to draw attention to the natural disaster and the government’s insufficient response to it. The flooding has resulted in over 200 deaths and caused significant damage to 75 municipalities in the region.

Protesters depicted Carlos Mazon on a main banner, dressed in rescue gear with his head bowed, symbolizing dissatisfaction with the organization of flood prevention and relief efforts.
