The death toll from the floods in Spain has reached 223, with 78 individuals reported missing, announced the country's Minister of Transport, Oscar Puente. This information was reported by TASS.

Earlier, the head of the Spanish Ministry of Transport stated that the scale of the disaster caused by the floods was unprecedented. Oscar Puente expressed hope that traffic on the Madrid-Valencia high-speed train line could be restored within two weeks at most.
