French President Emmanuel Macron has urged European countries to work towards a more united, stronger, and sovereign Europe in the wake of Trump's victory.

“In this new context, we will work for a more united, stronger, and sovereign Europe. We need to collaborate with the United States while protecting our interests and values,” wrote the French president.
