Srbouhi Galyan Appointed Minister of Justice
Srbouhi Galyan has been appointed as the Minister of Justice of the Republic of Armenia. This information comes from the press service of the President of Armenia.
“Based on the Prime Minister's proposal, in accordance with Article 131 of the Constitution, as well as part 1 of Article 5 of the Law on the Structure and Activity of the Government, Srbouhi Galyan is appointed as Minister of Justice,” states the decree of President Vahagn Khachaturyan.
It is noteworthy that Srbouhi Galyan is 32 years old. She previously served as Deputy Minister of Justice. Before her appointment as Minister of Justice, she was the Deputy Prosecutor General and oversaw cases related to the confiscation of illegal property.
It should be recalled that a signature collection was initiated in the National Assembly to oust the former Minister of Justice Grigor Minasian. This was followed by the resignation of the newly appointed Deputy Minister of Justice Sirvard Gevorgyan.
