A Highly Dangerous Period for the Whole World: Charles Michel Issues a Call to Action

The President of the European Council, Charles Michel, who will leave his position on December 1, has stated that the threat of a third world war is real and has called for action to prevent a new global conflict.

“It is beyond doubt that we are living in a highly dangerous period—dangerous not only for Europe but for the entire world. The outbreak of a third world war is possible, but we can and must prevent it. The course of history can still be changed,” said Michel in an interview with the magazine Soir.
