Argishti Kyaramyan is an Honest Individual: Alen Simonyan

The Chairman of the Investigative Committee, Argishti Kyaramyan, is an honest individual, stated the Speaker of the National Assembly, Alen Simonyan, to journalists.

He does not believe that Kyaramyan could become an opposition figure and join the "Holy" movement.

"I do not think so; he has held various positions numerous times and has then stepped back. I have no doubt about that," Simonyan said in a conversation with reporters at the National Assembly.

Reporters recalled former Prosecutor General Arthur Davtyan, who participated in opposition gatherings after leaving his position. The Speaker of the National Assembly stated that he does not wish to comment on Davtyan's honesty.

"I have greeted him; I have had contact, but no, we did not share a meal," he said.
