PHOTOS: Major Accident Turns Into Fire; 19-Year-Old Driver Dies

On November 1 at 23:01, the Crisis Management Center of the Kotayk Regional Rescue Department received a call about a traffic accident near the Noravan neighborhood of Dzoraghbyur village, where vehicles had collided, resulting in a fire in one of the cars.

A team from the Ministry of Emergency Situations' Fire and Rescue Directorate in Yerevan and a rescue group from the Special Rescue Operations Center were dispatched to the scene.

It was determined that an 'Opel' (driver T. G., born in 2005) collided with a 'Moskvich' vehicle, causing a fire in the 'Opel'. Before the rescue team arrived, the driver of the 'Opel' was transported by local forces to a medical center, where his death was confirmed.

Rescuers disconnected the power supply of the 'Moskvich', closed the valve of the gas cylinder, and assisted the driver by bringing him to an ambulance. The injured driver was hospitalized.

The fire was contained at 23:24 and extinguished at the same time. The 'Opel' vehicle was completely burned.
