Everyone is Just Waiting: Zelensky

The President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, has stated that everyone is simply waiting for North Korean military forces to begin striking Ukrainians. He made this remark in his evening video address.

The head of state emphasized that Ukraine could have delivered a preventive strike against all platforms where Russia is concentrating North Korean troops, if there were sufficient long-range strike capabilities available.

“We could have struck preventively if we had the capability to reach far enough. And that depends on our partners. But instead, America is watching, Britain is watching, Germany is watching. Everyone is just waiting for North Korean military personnel to start hitting Ukrainians,” he said.

“Action is needed. It is necessary that the words about the inadmissibility of escalation and expansion of the war coincide with actions,” Zelensky added.
