Zelensky: Trump Will Not Succeed in Pressuring Ukraine

Donald Trump, the Republican candidate for U.S. President, will not be able to convince Kyiv to make territorial concessions to end the conflict in Ukraine if he wins the elections. This was stated by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky in an interview with South Korean KBS television.

“If Trump becomes president and tries to end the war by forcing Ukraine to concede its territories to Russia, he will not succeed,” Zelensky emphasized. Trump has repeatedly claimed that if he becomes president, he would end the Russia-Ukraine war within 24 hours.
