VIDEO: Day of Mourning in Serbia as Concrete Slab Collapses on People at Station
A concrete slab has collapsed on people at the railway station in Novi Sad, Serbia. Approximately 40 people have been injured, and there are 11 confirmed fatalities. Rescue workers are on-site, as reported by RT, referencing local media.
The station had reopened this July following renovations. The Serbian government has declared Saturday, November 2, a day of mourning for those who lost their lives at the Novi Sad railway station, where the awning collapse resulted in the tragic deaths.
