Shooting During Halloween in Orlando Leaves Two Dead

In the early hours of Friday, a shooting occurred in downtown Orlando during Halloween celebrations, resulting in two fatalities and six injuries, according to police reports.

Orlando Police Chief Eric Smith announced at a press conference that the suspect is a 17-year-old male who was arrested at the scene. The police stated that the motive for the crime remains unclear, but they believe he is the only person involved in the attack. A handgun was recovered from the crime scene.

During the press conference, Smith showed footage of the crowd fleeing amidst the sound of gunfire, as well as video of police quickly arresting the suspect.
