Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan addressed the discussion on Armenia's list of intangible cultural heritage by referencing French cognac. "Cognac is an intangible value for France," he stated, adding, "Countries that do not belong to France but claim that they produce cognac, you know what cognac we have, we say we are happy, but we don't see that it draws a smirk from the side."

He also noted that we do not research how others perceive us. "And when we go and say, 'Do you know what kind of cognac we have?' people smile, but in their minds, they might be thinking something else."
