Response from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on the Presence of Armenians Among Those Affected by Flooding in Valencia

There are no Armenians among those affected by the flooding in Valencia, located in the southeast of Spain. This information was shared with Sputnik Armenia by Ani Badalyan, the spokesperson for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Armenia.

"According to current data, there are no Armenian citizens among the victims," stated the spokesperson for the foreign affairs agency.

It is important to note that recent reports indicate that the heavy rains in southeastern Spain have led to flooding which has claimed the lives of 72 people, with many others reported missing. The Spanish government has declared three days of mourning, and a red alert level for danger remains in effect in the region.
