Our Albert's Photo Appears on the Front Page of an Azerbaijani Newspaper

Doctor of Historical Sciences and former director of the Genocide Museum Institute Haik Demoyan writes: "Albert's photo did not randomly appear on the front page of an Azerbaijani newspaper. This was done intentionally and with a specific intent. One of the important tactics of informational-psychological warfare is to destroy or neutralize any positive or heroic narrative associated with the opposing side by targeting its symbols. They are very much aware of that photo and have calculated everything. Yet, as always, we swallow the bait dangled on our side and spend an entire day entangled in the game imposed by them, obediently adhering to the rules of this game. The conclusion here is straightforward: the Republic of Armenia absolutely lacks a conceptual framework to maintain at least a defensive position in the informational-psychological war. There is no counter-measure, and the opposing side is taking advantage of this by regularly organizing psychological provocations and destructive actions. However, the most shocking and tragic aspect of this story is that, in broad daylight, right within the territory of the Republic of Armenia, its citizens openly contribute to these destructive actions and enhance their effectiveness by generously providing the opposing side with tools and opportunities to develop new operations for informational-psychological warfare. This is best exemplified by the researchers from certain institutes of the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Armenia. The absurd and grotesque situation unfolds: researchers from the Institute of Oriental Studies of the Academy are involved in the development of the new strategic security concept adopted by Armenia in 2020, while researchers from the Institute of Archaeology and Ethnography of the Academy “successfully and effectively” work against the principles outlined in that strategy and in favor of Azerbaijani anti-Armenian propaganda. As is usually the case among us, even within the Academy, there is no discussion or criticism regarding these unprecedented and disgraceful incidents."
