Memoranda with Netflix: What to Expect in Armenia

The Ministry of Education, Science, Culture, and Sport of the Republic of Armenia has signed memoranda with the American company Netflix to shoot several series in Armenia. This was announced by Minister Zhanna Andreasyan during the preliminary discussions of the 2025 state budget at a joint meeting of the permanent committees of the National Assembly.

"The film industry is a rapidly developing sector, and in this sense, we already have signed memoranda with Netflix. They have plans to shoot several series here, and various similar projects will gain more momentum in the case of partial return on investments," the minister noted.
