VIDEO: Finance Minister on Workers Migrating from India

In 2024, the number of Indian citizens in Armenia has significantly decreased. This was stated today, October 28, at a joint session of the National Assembly committees while discussing the draft budget for 2025 by Armenia's Finance Minister Vahé Hovhannisyan.

“In other words, if we are talking about labor migrants, then according to the data I have, their number has significantly decreased,” he said. However, the minister was unsure whether the Indian citizens arriving in Armenia were coming as tourists or for work purposes.
